Alexander "Jim" Anderson

Alexander “Jim” Anderson, age 92 of Lansing, NY passed away Monday, September 13, 2021 at Cayuga Medical Center.

Born January 19, 1929 in Sherman Township, MI, he was the son of the late John and Laura Anderson. Jim was an electrician at Cargill in Lansing and following retirement from there he was employed with the Town of Lansing Highway Dept. Jim loved dancing, bowling, golf and tinkering with tractors and small equipment.

In addition to his parents, Jim was predeceased by siblings, John, Richard, William, Thelma and Emma; and also his longtime companion, Bonnie Craig. Jim is survived by his children, Dianne (Larry) Burke, Mary (Jim) Proctor and David (Tracey) Anderson; grandchildren, Chrissy, Cyndi, Ally, Cassie, Jessica, Kelly, Abby, Alex, Kimmy and Tessy; great grandchildren, McKayla, Zoie, Zayvion, Zayden, Zaybriel, Kayden, Khelsea and Chayson; his ex-wife and friend, Phyllis; several nieces and nephews and his faithful companion, Itty Bit.

Graveside services will be held at 11 am on Thursday, September 16, 2021 at West Groton Cemetery, Cobb Street at Durfee Rd, West Groton.
