Alice Kibbe Kelley

ALICE KIBBE KELLEY, age 93, formerly of 42 Church St., Cortland, NY died Tuesday, May 29, 2007 at the Northwoods Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Cortland. Mrs. Kelley was born Feb. 17, 1914 at Solon Pond, Town of Taylor, NY. She was a daughter of the late Lee and Maude Potter Kibbe. On August 29, 1935 she was married to Elwin Kelley at Frederick, Maryland. Mr. Kelley passed away March 13, 1963.

Mr. and Mrs. Kelley owned a farm on Carr Hill and after retiring from the farm, Alice was employed for many years at Smith Corona retiring in 1976. She was a former member of the Parkside Assembly of God Church in Cortland.

Survivors include her daughters, Esther (Rodney) Doubleday of McLean, Gloria (Richard) Graybill of Port Trevorton, PA, Velma Kelley of Elmira, NY, Nita (David) Naber of Crestview, FL and her son, Walter (Pat) Kelley of Lake Port, CA; one sister, Lydia Fuller of Cortland; thirteen grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; five great great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers and six sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Friday at the Groton Assembly of God Church with Pastor Sam Neno officiating. Burial will follow on Hillcrest Cemetery, DeRuyter, NY. Friends are invited to call from 12 to 1 PM Friday at the church, 701 South Main Street, Groton, NY. Memorials, in lieu of flowers, are graciously directed to The Gideons International, P.O.
