ALISON LYNN NORTHUP
, age 24, of 214 Clinton Ave., Cortland, NY passed away unexpectedly on Friday, June 8th at the Cortland Regional Medical Center.
Alison was born Feb. 22, 1988 in Syracuse, NY a daughter of Laurie Crossett Northup and Jay Northup, III of Cortland. She was a graduate of Cortland-Madison BOCES. A resident of the Franziska Racker Center home in Cortland, Alison participated in many group DAYHAB activities and will be missed by a wide circle of friends and acquaintances.
She is in God’s hands now but will also live on through being a donor.Surviving in addition to her parents are her grandparents, Gretta and Jay Northup, Jr. of Cortland and John Crossett of Homer, her siblings, Jay (Maria) Northup, IV of Summerhill, NY Erica and Heather Northup both of Cortland; aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by her maternal grandmother, Katherine Parker.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at the Perkins Funeral Home with Rev. Sam Neno officiating. Burial will follow in Virgil Rural Cemetery.
