Allen E. Heath

ALLEN E. HEATH, age 79, of 136 North Street, Dryden, NY and Dade City, FL, went to be with our Lord and Savior on Sunday, Dec. 5, 2010 at the Cayuga Medical Center at Ithaca, NY. Allen was born in Mayville, NY on October 15, 1931 and was a son of the late Loren and Marjorie Peters Heath. He was graduated from Dryden High School in 1949 and entered the US Army where he served honorably for 2 years. He worked at Smith Corona for 10 years and at Consolidated Natural Gas for 25 years. In retirement Allen was employed at the gas plant in Marathon, NY. Allen was an avid golfer and sports fan, often playing on a local softball team. But most of all, he enjoyed his wife, children and grandchildren.

Survivors include his loving wife of 53 years, Dorothy, his children, Dennis Heath, Daniel Heath and Denise (Arve) Dyvik; siblings, Paul Heath, Betty Drake and Jean Madigan; grandchildren, Jennifer, Jessica, David, Tori, Adam, Nicole, Tore and Sarah; great-grandchildren, Ariana, Keylyn, Trevor, Riley and Emily; nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his sisters, Ellen Heath, June Maloney and Shirley Hopkins.

Funeral services will be held at 2 PM, Saturday, Dec. 11, 2010, at the Perkins Funeral Home with Katy Prince officiating. Burial, in Glenwood Cemetery, Homer, NY will be delayed. Friends are invited to call from 5 to 7 PM Friday and from 1 to 2 PM Saturday at the funeral home, 55 West Main St., Dryden. Friends are also invited to join the family at the Dryden Veterans Memorial Home Saturday following the funeral. Memorials may be made to the Dryden Ambulance Fund, P.O.
