Alton D. Stetson

Alton D. Stetson, age 74, of Cortland and formerly of Dryden, NY passed away Thursday, February 15, 2018 at Crown Park in Cortland, NY.
Born February 20, 1943 in Ithaca, NY he was a son of the late Clayton and Alwyn Bowker Stetson and husband of the late Marilou Reusch Stetson.

Alton was a lifelong farmer who enjoyed the outdoors especially hunting and fishing.

Alton is survived by his son, Andrew (Paula) Stetson of Richford, NY; daughters, Jodi K. Brazo of Newfield, NY and Victoria Stetson of Trumansburg, NY; 9 grandchildren; 1 great granddaughter; sister, Marilyn Hunsinger of Newark Valley, NY and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and wife, Alton was predeceased by his siblings, Irene Stetson, George, Carlos and Ervin Stetson.

Funeral services will be held at 11 am, Friday, February 23, 2018 at Perkins Funeral Home, 55 West Main St., Dryden, NY with Pastor Archie Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Willow Glen Cemetery, Dryden, NY.
