Andrew Wilson Morse (Bud), a long-time resident of Freeville, NY passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at the age of 93. He was born on March 13, 1929 to Flora and Audrea Mosci Morse in Lansing, NY. At the age of 17 he left high school to join the US Army 7th Cavalry Division serving in Osaka Japan. Upon his return he met and married Patricia Ann Fenner and raised a family. He attended and graduated from Cascadilla School. He worked his entire career at New York State Electric and Gas as a welder and chief gas fitter. Bud was a member of the New Testament Church of Peruville in Groton, NY. A devoted husband, father and friend. He enjoyed hunting, camping, traveling and spending time with family. Bud is survived by his children Judith Morse, Kathleen Perkins, Mary Davidson (Joseph) and Sara Gibbons (Christopher). Grand Children Frank Hillard (Brenda), Christopher Perkins, Josephine Holland (Ray), Andrew Lynch, Matthew Lynch, Catherine Davidson, Correy Gibbons (Jessica), Kyle Gibbons (Kiersten). 6 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and many dear friends. Bud is predeceased by his wife, Patricia Morse, sister Mary Stull, and son-in-law Dave Perkins. Calling hours will take place from 2-4pm on Sunday, September 11, funeral immediately following at the Perkins Funeral Home, Main Street, Dryden, NY.
