Ann H. (Hubbard) Harris

Ann H. Harris, 83 of Brooktondale, NY passed away Thursday, November 2, 2023 at home. The past few years she suffered with Alzheimer’s, but remained cheerful throughout.

Born October 1, 1940 in Elgin, IL she was the daughter of the late Edgar and Dorothy Johnson Hubbard and wife of the late William A. Harris who died in 2016. Ann was employed with Therm Inc. for many years, prior to her retirement. She and Bill were very active with their church community, Danby Community Church. They helped with the church chicken and biscuit dinners and were famous for their Lemon meringue pies.

Ann was predeceased by her son and daughter in law, Jeffrey A. (Terri) Harris; grandson, Christopher Blaker and son in law, Matthew Blaker. She is survived by her son, John A. (Lorraine) Harris of Harford, NY, daughters, Jacqueline A. Harris of Brooktondale, NY and Jill A. (Roger) Wilber of Maryland; grandchildren, Jennifer Harris, Kathy Harris and Morgan Wilber; great grandson, Jeremiah Elkins; her brother, Roger Hubbard of Ithaca, NY; niece, Rhonda Cornish and nephew, Ray Hubbard.

Friends may call from 11 am until the time of the service at 12 pm on Monday, November 6, 2023 at Perkins Funeral Home, 55 W. Main St., Dryden, NY with Pastor Ed Enstine officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Danby Community Church Food Pantry, 1859 Danby Rd., Ithaca or Hospicare, 172 E. King Rd., Ithaca, NY 14850.
