Anna B. Larue

ANNA B. LaRUE, 89, passed away Monday, June 7th, 2004 of natural causes. Born on July 23, 1914, she lived in Yonkers, NY and married William LaRue on October 18, 1957. Anna worked in secretarial offices in New York City. During a visit to beautiful upstate New York she and her husband made a promise to each other that someday they would like to live in Ithaca, NY. After Mr. LaRue passed on and without a family, she relocated and introduced herself into the community. She made many impressions as a feisty, self advocate of rights. She introduced her self to

Cindy and William Rich, Jr. nearly 15 years ago and formed a unique bond with us and our children. We would like to thank her friend, Myra Malkin, of NYC who has over the years sent dozens of postcards to Anna. She truly and dearly loved each and every one of them. Also thanks to all of the wonderful staff at Northwoods Rehabilitation Center in Cortland who made their conversations with Anna as pleasant as needed and for their devoted care during her last days.
