Barry Robert Delibero

Barry R. Delibero, age 73 of Newfield, NY passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, April 24, 2022 at his home.

Born November 23, 1948 in Ithaca, NY, he was always one to push the limits. He was an artist and photographer. A member of the Ithaca Dirt Riders, he was a long time trail blazer, even with his Ural or his Jeep Wrangler “Black Betty.” He loved riding his Ural with Sandee in the side car, to capture beautiful fall scenery on country roads. He also enjoyed remote control car racing and fishing. He owned his own business “Grey Bear Photography” specializing in black and white developing and printing. He was employed as a campus photographer at Cornell, for over 25 years, and FoodNet of Tompkins County, where he enjoyed helping others and meeting new people.

Barry is survived by his loving wife, Sandee Brown Delibero; his son, Martin (Danielle) Fennimore of Groton, NY; his daughter, Katee (Eric) Murphy of Albany, NY; granddaughters, Alyssa, Maggie and Becca Fennimore and Raegan and Elora Murphy; brother in law, William (Bonnie – deceased) Brown of Newfield. In addition, he was predeceased by his father, Robert Swartz; mother, Betty Flynn Delibero; step father, Frank Delibero and sister, Becky Fennimore.

The family will hold a private Celebration later at Stewart Park.
