BETTY J. BERGER DAY,
age 80, of Brooktondale, NY died unexpectedly on Thursday, January 3, 2008 at Cayuga Medical Center, Ithaca, NY.
Predeceased by her husband Robert E. Day on August 30, 1993, she is survived by her two sons, Robert D. (Kathleen) Day of Williamsburg, VA and Michael M. (Cindie) Day of Lansing, NY; eight grandchildren, R. Scott Day of Newport News, VA, Stephen K. (Robyn) Day of Portsmouth, VA, Timothy D. Day, Kathryn A. Day both of Williamsburg, VA, Michelle E. (Jason) Strantz of Charlotte, NC, Susan D. (Shawn) Bowman of Churchville, NY, Matthew M. (Lynn) Day of Lansing and Carrie M. Day of Brooktondale, NY; five great grandchildren; sister, Shirley French of Ithaca, NY; several nieces and nephews.
Born and raised in the Ithaca area, Betty graduated from Ithaca High School and was retired after many years, from the Grand Union Supermarket in Ithaca.
Services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, January 8, 2008 at Perkins Funeral Home, 55 W. Main St., Dryden, NY with Rev. David C. Robinson officiating. Friends may call from 10 - 11 am at the funeral home prior to the service. www.perkinsfuneralhome.com
