BEVERLY BAKER COLLINS BUCKLEY,
age 90, of County Rd. 139, Ovid, NY and formerly of Ellis Hollow Rd., Ithaca passed away Thursday, March 31, 2005 at her son’s home near Ovid, NY. Mrs. Buckley was born Feb. 8, 1915 at Ithaca, NY a daughter of the late Fred and Jennie King Baker. She was predeceased by her husbands, Leonard Collins and Fred Buckley. She was a loving care giver to her family and friends. To call her a stay at home farmer’s wife, mother and grandmother was to pay her the greatest of all compliments.
Survivors include her sons, David A. (Sharon) Collins of Ovid and Leslie G. (Jean) Collins of Berne, NY; a step-son, Meridith Buckley; grandchildren, Michael, Julia, Betsy and Fred; numerous great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Graveside services, to be held in Mt. Green Cemetery, Romulus, NY, will be announced at a later date. There are no calling hours. Friends are asked to make a memorial gift to a charity of their own choice. Arrangements are entrusted to the Perkins Funeral Home, 55 West Main St., Dryden, NY.
