Bonnie Lee Mettler

BONNIE LEE METTLER, age 59, of Bone Plain Road, Freeville, NY passed away Sunday, Nov. 26, 2017 at home after a three year battle with cancer. Born June 15, 1958 in Geneva, she was a daughter of the late Ernest and Pearl Kidd Cornell. She had been employed at the Best Western in Ithaca and was a long time area resident.
Survivors include her husband, David L. Mettler Jr, at home; her children, Larry (Jennifer) Hamilton, Bonnie (Chris Delooze) Hamilton, Tammie (Donald Tuttle) Hamilton, Mark Hamilton, Rosa Hamilton, Eleana Mettler; eleven grandchildren; sisters, Crystal Cornell and Kathryn Ford and many nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Her daughter writes:
"I love the way you fly in the sky, you will find that everyone is waiting for you above. So take your time to come going to heaven where your family is waiting for you. Flap your little wings so that you can see them again. They will have a party for you when you arrive. They will be so happy to see you that they will cry."
Bonnie's family will gather privately to celebrate her life.
