Bruce J. Neff

BRUCE J. NEFF, 75, of Daisy Hollow Road, Dryden, passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at University Hospital after an extended illness. Bruce was born January 16, 1941 in Dryden, NY. He was a son of the late Bernard C. and Bessie Satterly Neff. Bruce was employed as a Dryden Central School Bus Driver and worked at Bell's Auto Care. He had previously been employed at Smith Corona and Pall Trinity. Bruce was a long time member of the Harford Fire Company, enjoyed NASCAR, spending time with his family, friends, and fellow co-workers.
Survivors include his loving wife of 45 years, Virginia E. Neff, his daughters, Michelle (Rick) Preston of McLean, Tammy (Ron Hamilton) Welch of Stroud, OK, Victoria R. (Michael) Jordan of Freeville; his brothers, Bert Neff of Dryden and Bradley (Carolyn) Neff of Florida; seven grandsons and one granddaughter; eight great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins. Bruce was predeceased by a daughter, Barbie-Jo Neff; and two brothers, Boyce Neff and Bernard Neff, Jr.
Friends are invited to call from 4 to 7 PM, Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at Perkins Funeral Home 55 West Main Street, Dryden, NY. Burial, in Willow Glen Cemetery, will be private.
