Carl Fred Lacey

Carl Lacey, age 90, of McLean, NY, loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather went to be with the Lord on January 11th 2022.

Carl was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Marjorie. He leaves behind a son, Tom (Sally) Lacey; a daughter, Michele (John) Burns; granddaughters, Karen (Eric) Lacey-Branch, Morgen (Greg) Crispell, Jenna Lacey & Kyle Burns; great-granddaughters, Jaimeson Branch, and June & Jade Crispell, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Carl was a business owner for many years. He worked in the insurance industry and upon retirement, became an accomplished clocksmith. He served in the US Army from 1950-1952. He was a member of the McLean Community Church, and Chiseler’s Woodworking Club in Briney Breezes, FL. He was a collector who loved a good auction or yard sale. Carl and Marjorie loved to travel and meet people. He was always ready to share wisdom, stories and good advice. He was a caring active member of the community who will be missed by family and his many friends.

Services will be held at Perkins Funeral Home, 55 West Main St., Dryden, NY on April 23rd with a Receiving of Friends at 10 AM and a Celebration of Carl's Life Service at 11 AM. We invite all whose lives he touched to attend. Interment to follow at McLean Rural Cemetery.
