Carl Eugene Parker, Auburndale, Fla (formerly of Dryden, NY) died unexpectedly at St. Joseph Hospital in Syracuse NY on Monday July 23rd. He was born in Lansing, NY and was married to Lorraine Ellis Parker for 36 years, recently moved from Dryden, NY to Auburndale, Fl. Carl was a truckdriver of 35 years and enjoyed driving dirt track racing at Dryden Speedway and Skyline Speedway #31.
Carl enjoyed, boating, camping and computers. He was always helping others and enjoyed life to it's fullest. He is survived by his wife, Lorraine of Auburndale, Fl; daughters, Lori Hill of Groton, NY, Christyne Massey (Allen Mathews) of Mooresville, NC; stepchildren, Douglas (Shelia) Smith, Auburndale, Fl, Randolph (Linda) Smith of Trumansburg, NY and Lorie Smith of Dryden, NY; 9 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren; a Brother, Ron Parker of Missouri; brother & sisters-in Laws, Donald & Diana Ellis, Nancy Bennison/Connors, Carl & Ester Metott, Ronald Ellis, Olive Parker; his father-in-law, Gorden F. Ellis and several nieces and nephews and a life-long friend, Ronnie McCarty. Carl was pre-deceased by his brother, Larry Parker; a sister-in-law Arlene and half sister Christine Parker.
