Carl A. Williams

Carl Arthur Williams , age 92, of Canastota, NY and formerly of Newfield, Dryden and Ithaca, NY died on September 3rd, 2010. He was born October 6, 1918 in Newfield, NY to L. Arthur and Frances (Flossie) Stewart Williams. He served several years in the Army Engineers, including from January, 1942 to the end of World War II in the South Pacific earning several medals. He was married to Elvira Daino of Ithaca, now deceased, and is survived by his son, John Michael, of Canastota, NY and his daughter Mary Carline Williams of New Orleans, LA, his sisters Iva Womble of Zephyr Hills, Fl and Marie Spencer of Apache Jct, AZ and several nieces and nephews. Private services were held at the grave in Willow Glen Cemetery, Dryden. Perkins Funeral Home assisted the family. www.perkinsfuneralhome.com
