Forever Wasn’t Mine To Give
When the wind whispers, listen for me
when a robin perches in the tree.
When the stars burn, and life goes on
I’ll be the sound of nature’s song.
When a flower blooms within your mind
I’ll be the sun that gives it shine.
Forever wasn't mine to give
But you have my heart and on it lives,
When all you want to do is cry,
Look for my love notes in the sky.
When the rain falls softly from above,
grief is the poem written by love.
