Carol Ann Morgan

Carol Ann VanDeWeert Morgan, age 81, passed away peacefully Thursday, December 08, 2016 at home surrounded by her loving family. Carol was born in Midland Park, New Jersey on August 10, 1935, a daughter of Garrett and Ella Ten Kate VanDeWeert.
Carol is pre-deceased by her mother and father as well as her brothers and sisters-in-law, Hen (Helen) and Bernard (Patricia) VanDeWeert; grandson Zachary Minster and son-in-law, Kenneth McMillen.
Carol is survived by her loving husband of almost 63 years, Albert Gordon Morgan Sr., her children Ellen McMillen, Albert Gordon (Susan) Morgan II, Jean (William) LaLonde, Bruce (Deana) Morgan, Karen (Stephen) Woodhull; her brothers Garrett (Joyce) VanDeWeert, John (Hummy) VanDeWeert and Ronald VanDeWeert; sisters, Elaine (Jim) Fergus and Lisa (Carmen) Ciaschi (who was like a daughter to her), along with 19 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren and countless nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Each grandchild would say, they were her favorite, however everyone knew she had a special place in her heart for all of them.Honoring her wishes a celebration of her life will be planned in the spring.
Family and friends are invited to join us for brunch on Sunday, December 11, 2016 from 9:00 to 11:00 AM, at the Harford Town Hall located at 394 NY-RT 38 in Harford, New York. Memorials, in lieu of flowers, are graciously directed to Hospicare, 172 East King Road, Ithaca, NY 14850.
