CAROL ANN SNYDER,
age 69, of Rochester, NY died Monday, Dec. 29, 2008 at the Hurlbut Nursing Facility in Rochester. Carol was born in Dryden, NY on Feb. 2, 1939 and was a daughter of the late Alfred "Mike" Schutt and Iva Cotterill Schutt. She was graduated from Dryden High School in 1956. Carol was retried from the NYS Division of Parole in Rochester. Previously she was employed at Cornell University. Carol was a strong willed individual and although she was very independent, she was family oriented and will be greatly missed.
Survivors include her children, Cheryl (Sean) Brown, Michael (Jocilynne) Snyder and Harold (Rose) Snyder, Jr.; all of Rochester; her brothers, James Scutt of Roseville, CA, Donald Scutt of Plant City, FL, Terry Schutt of Arab, AL; her sisters, Carleen Hutchings of Dryden and Lois McKane of Lansing; six grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by a sister, Elma Weaver.
Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Friday, Jan, 2, 2009 at the Perkins Funeral Home, 55 West Main St., Dryden, NY. Friends are invited to call at the funeral home from 11 AM to 1 PM Friday. Burial will be in Willow Glen Cemetery, Dryden. Friends are asked to make a contribution to the National Parkinson’s Foundation, Inc., Office of Development
