CAROLYN MARIE (GALPIN) JORDAN
, of 6 Bailey Drive, Freeville, NY Carolyn Marie Jordan (nee Galpin), 60, died peacefully on October 2, surrounded by her family. Carolyn will be dearly missed by her family and friends. She will be fondly remembered for her vibrant flower gardens, genuine compassion for all who crossed her path, and for the strength and determination with which she lived the final days of her life.
A treasured wife, mother, daughter, and sister, Carolyn leaves behind her husband Frank L. Jordan, her son Kevin A. Jordan, his wife Melissa and her beloved granddaughter Noelle Rose of Center Moriches, LI, NY, and
her daughter Karen A. Jordan and partner Chris Dunham of Ithaca, NY. Carolyn is also survived by her mother Lora A. Galpin of Freeville, NY, and her two sisters, Ruth Grable of Montpelier, VA, and Sharon Brody of Watertown, CT.
Services will be held at the Perkins Funeral Home on Friday, Oct. 6th at 10 AM with the Reverend Robin White, Carolyn’s niece, officiating. A service of Christian interment will follow at the Willow Glen Cemetery
in Dryden. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, 55 West Main St., Dryden, on Thursday, Oct 5, 2006 from 7 to 9 PM. The family asks those who wish to remember Carolyn in the form of a contribution
