Casey James Howard Stockton

Casey James Howard Stockton, 26 of Cortland, NY, passed away unexpectedly in a motorcycle accident on July 25, 2021. Casey was born in St. Augustine, Florida on February 22, 1995. Casey loved his work as an automotive detailer and took great pride in making things shine. He greatly enjoyed the outdoors spending much of his time on his snowmobile, dirt bike and motorcycle and dreamed of one day being a stunt rider. Casey was also a proud member of the Ithaca Sport Riders MC. Casey was a loving, free spirit that lived life to its fullest and would never pass up the chance to help anyone that needed it. He was a great debater, very outspoken and passion about his thoughts and views, but would also listen and hear others as well. He will always be remembered for his infectious smile and bringing smiles to those that were around him. During his short time, Casey touched many lives with his kindness and big heart.

Casey is predeceased by his Maternal Grandfather; Howard Davis, Maternal Grandmother; Kathy Davis-Graham , Paternal Grandfather; James H Stockton Sr ; Paternal Great Grandfather; Gerald Stockton and Paternal Great Grandmother; Shirley Stockton.

Casey is survived by his parents; James H Stockton Jr (Dawn) of Groton, NY and Nicol Davis of Cortland, NY. Siblings; Laurie (Gilbert) Bowen of Dryden, NY, Ashli Trufant (fiance` Kyle Hodge) of Groton, NY, Jennifer (Stephen) Long of Washington, NH and TenaRuth (Chayden) VanPelt of South Otselic. Also survived by Grandfather; Robert Graham of Palm Bay, Florida. Casey had several nieces and nephews that adored him and will miss him greatly.

Please attend services in comfortable dress as Casey would have. Jeans, t-shirts, hats and sunglasses are perfect! We would like to remember and celebrate his life as he would have.

Services will be held August 7, 2021 at Perkins Funeral Home 55 West Main Street, Dryden NY. Calling hours will begin at 9:00 am with funeral beginning at 12:00 pm. Join us for Casey's Celebration of Life to follow at the Dryden VFW 2272 Dryden Road, Dryden NY.
