Clifford A Scutt, 84, passed away at his residence on September 10, 2014, with his loving family by his side. Cliff was born August 1, 1930 to the late Abraham and Elizabeth Scutt in Cincinnnatus NY. On August 9, 1947 he married the love of his life Alma Willson Scutt. They just celebrated their 67th wedding anniversary. Cliff was employed for 44 yrs at Gutchess Lumber Company, retiring in 1992. Then for a few years he operated C A Scutt Trucking, delivering sawdust to many local farmers.
As a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and great great grandfather he loved spending time with his family having cook outs, working in his wood shop, watching his grandchildren swim in his pool and having a good time.
Clifford was a member of Calvary Baptist Church of Harford and a former member of the Virgil Cemetery Board.

(Carmen) Eaton, Kimberly Moran, Danny (Becky) Moran, Rachel Moran, Nathan (Donnalyn) Moran, Sally (Kevin) Miller, Penny (Joe) Prigon, Misty (David) Marcuccilli, JR (Kerri) Schultz, Carol Jo Lusk, Danielle Lusk, Rhonda (Zac) Davis, Chelsea and Laura Scutt. His great grandchildren, Allyson (Judd) Wilkins, Bethanne (Nate Leonard) Barber, Lyncoln (Jenelle Burnham) Barber, Jazmin, Lexiss, Jaydan, Zayne, Ethyn, Suzee, Lia, Blaze, Kristah, Bionca, John, and Brady Barber, Kayla, Erica, Reanna, Makayla, Tevin, and Jacob Moran, Amber and Sammi Juras, Jordan and Jacob Prigon, Austin and Kaylee Marcuccilli, McKenzie, Ella and Emma Schultz, and Dakota, JoLee, Justus and Daisy Davis. His great great grandchildren Adrian Schingler and Ryatt Moran, his sister, Jane (Calvin) Bailey of Trumansburg and many nieces nephews and cousins. In addition to being predeceased by his parents, he was also predeceased by his granddaughter, Suzanne Eaton, a brother, Howard Scutt, his sisters Irene Case and Arlene Cornell.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday September 15th at Perkins Funeral Home with Rev. James Owens officiating. Burial will follow in Virgil Rural Cemetery. Friends and family may call on Sunday afternoon from 3:00-5:00 p.m. at the funeral home, 55 W. Main St., Dryden.
