Clyde Milton Snowberger

CLYDE M. SNOWBERGER, age 74, formerly of McLean, Freeville and Groton passed away Friday, March 24, 2017 at Crown Park in Cortland. Clyde was born August 28, 1942 in Danby, NY a son of the late Chester and Eva Smith Snowberger. He attended school in Dryden and served in Vietnam with the US Navy SeaBee's from 1968 to 1971. He was a member of the Plumbers and Pipe Fitters and was employed by many contractors and later was the owner of Clyde Snowberger Plumbing and Heating. Clyde also worked for Beck Equipment.
Survivors include his daughters, Ann Snowberger of Locke and Jody Wong of Windsor, ON; grandchildren, Zachary Eaton, Bailee and Rylee Cotterill; many nieces, nephews and cousins including Mary Kenyon and Raymond Sears. Also surviving is his former wife, Cheryl Moore Snowberger. He was predeceased his siblings, Alice Sears and Lester Canfield.
Funeral services will be held at 10 AM, Thursday, March 30, 2017 at the Perkins Funeral Home with Rev. Wade Jacobson officiating. Delayed burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Newfield. Friends are invited to call from 4 to 6 PM, Wednesday at the funeral home, 55 West Main Street, Dryden. Memorials are directed to the Dryden Veterans Memorial Home, 2272 Dryden Road, Dryden, NY 13053
