CONSTANCE E. JAMARUSTY
, 62, of Ithaca, NY passed away Monday, January 1, 2007 at Cayuga Medical Center.
Born September 15, 1944 in Ithaca, NY, she was a daughter of the late Peter Jamarusty and Marguerite Hulslander Jamarusty Crossmore. Born of a sweet spirit, Connie was very talented in the secretarial field where she won many typing awards. She also won awards in beauty contests and played the french horn in Dryden High School under the direction of our special friend, the late Bernard Ward. She graduated Dryden High School in 1962. Connie worked as an airline flight attendant for the former Mohawk Airlines and was executive secretary for Assemblywoman, Constance E. Cook of Ithaca.
Connie is survived by her sisters, Brenda L. Jamarusty Bull now residing in Phoenix, AZ and Joanne F. Jamarusty of Ithaca, NY; her paternal uncle, Joseph (Patricia) Jamarusty, uncle Clarence Hazen; her maternal uncle, Herbert "Oscar" (Wanda) Hulslander and aunt, Stella (George) Slater and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by paternal aunts and uncles, Carrie Miccinati, Michael Morusty, Victoria Hazen and Philip Jimrusti and maternal aunts, Verna Lowell and Eleanor Stairs.
A Memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, January 6, 2007 at Perkins Funeral Home, 55 W. Main St., Dryden, NY. Private interment will be at Calvary Cemetery, Ithaca, NY at the convenience of the family.
