Craig Dennis Soper

CRAIG DENNIS SOPER, age 50, of Country Acres Mobile Home Park, Harford, NY died Monday, March 24, 2008 at his residence. Craig was born September 26, 1957 in Somers Point, NJ, a son of Raya E. Gower Soper and Stanley J. Soper. He was a long time resident of Harford and was graduated from Whitney Point High School in 1975. Craig was always helping others and was know for his unwavering devotion to his dog, "Billy" who also died Monday. Craig was a member of the Harford Vol. Fire Company Auxiliary. He would often help the residents of the trailer park and Creamery Hills before they could ask. Craig enjoyed listening to Elvis, pitching horse shoes and watching NASCAR.

Survivors include his parents, Raya E. Eggleston of Harford and Stanley J. (Sally) Soper of Killawog; his brothers, Vincent (Genny Leone) Soper of Richford, NY, Gordon Soper of Marathon and Michael Dunckley of Dryden; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Bonnie Soper.

Memorial services will be held at 11 AM Friday, March 28, 2008 at the Perkins Funeral Home with Rev. Janet D. Lee officiating. Burial will be private and at a later date. Friends are invited to call Thursday from 6 to 8 PM, at the funeral home, 55 West Main St., Dryden.
