Cynthia I. Boughton
, age 54, passed away at her serene Lake Como home on April 1st after a battle with cancer. Cyndi was the daughter of Ewald and Clara Bleck of Marathon and mother to Arthur M. Boughton II of Preble.He and his wife Bobby gave Cyndi unending joy when they brought two granddaughters, Kaitlyn Rose and Tatum Rae Boughton, into her life.
Cyndi is survived by her mother Clara Bleck who currently lives in Cortland and her siblings Ewald (Sharon) of Dryden, Wanda (Tom) West of Marathon, Rex Bleck of Cortland, Raymond (Kim) Bleck of Marathon and Lonnie (Jim) DeGraw of Marathon. Cyndi adored her nieces and nephews and she enjoyed spending time with her extended family of aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was predeceased by her long-time companion, Gary Bessette, first son Frederick Boughton, her father Ewald and her brothers, Lester and Jim. To honor her wishes, there will be no formal services. Perkins Funeral Home is assisting the family. www.perkinsfuneralhome.com
