DANIEL F. ""Boone"" HINES, age 28, of Watkins Glen, NY died Thursday, Sept. 3 after a 5 month illness. Boone was born May 19, 1981 in Ithaca a son of Frederick G. Hines and the late Jane Maricle Hines. Prior be becoming ill on April 7, 2009, Boone was a self employed satellite dish installer. Boone was a member of the Watkins Glen Volunteer Fire Department.
Surviving in additional to his father are his wife, Josephine Perkins Hines; his 9 month old son; Caleb John Hines; his brother, George Hines and a sister, Shannon Hines all of Watkins Glen. Also surviving are his father-in-law & mother-in-law, Dave and Kathy Perkins of Freeville; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM, Thursday, Sept. 10, at the Royce-Chedzoy Funeral Home. Burial will be private in Millport Cemetery. Friends are invited to call from 12 to 2 PM Thursday at the funeral home, 212 E. Fourth St., Watkins Glen, NY.
