Daniel Lee Hitchcock

Daniel L Hitchcock 45 of  Ithaca passed away unexpectedly on December 26, 2023. He is the son of Becky Shevalier Eggleston and the late Richard Eggleston of Slaterville and the late George Hitchcock of Freeville. In addition to his Mother, he is also survived by his wife Krista Vaughn; his children, Kaleb, Jared, Danni (Logan) Smith Hitchcock, Kelly Thomas, and Remington Hitchcock; his grandchildren, Penelopee and Jaxson; his siblings, Georgia Barrett (Shayla, Mathew, Jaden and Quade), George (Ashley) Hitchcock, and Michael (Penny) Beckman; his girlfriend Margaret Kelly and bonus children, Destanie, Haiden, George, and Buck; many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Dans happiness revolved around his children, grandchildren and family. He had a great sense of humor there was not a person that knew him that hasn’t had a belly laugh caused by him. He was an Avid Outdoorsman and Buffalo Bills fan. He will be missed dearly.

Services will be held at 11 am on Friday, January 5, 2024 at Perkins Funeral Home, 55 W. Main St., Dryden, NY with Rev. Phil Jordan officiating. Family and friends may call from 10-11 prior to the service at the funeral home. A Celebration of Dan’s Life will immediately follow at the Slaterville Springs Fire Station.
