Daniel Martin Thomas

Daniel Martin Thomas, age 68 of Marathon, NY passed away unexpectedly on April 2, 2022 at his home.

Born February 12, 1954 in Johnson City, NY he was the son of Beatrice Martin Thomas and the late Harl Thomas. Daniel was employed in blow mold production at Smith Corona, Rubbermaid and Chenango Valley Technologies and most recently he was employed with Square Deal in Marathon, prior to retirement. He was a former volunteer with Killawog Fire Dept. and a former member of Lake Gerry Resident Assoc. in Oxford, NY.

In addition to his mother, Daniel is survived by his three sons, Daniel “Joe” Thomas, Jonathan M. (Jenny) Thomas and Scott (Maura) Thomas; his grandchildren, Natalie, Rylee, Jordan and Tyler; siblings, Harl (Bonnie) Thomas, Michael (Jackie) Thomas, Sylvia Ganoe and Mark (Lillian) Thomas; several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of his life will be held from 12 - 4 pm on Sunday, May 22, 2022 at the McLean Fire Station.
