DAVID V. "STICK" CARPENTER,
age 47, of Richford, NY died Monday, Oct. 16, 2006 as the result of a logging accident in Richford. David was born Dec. 15, 1958 at Cortland, NY a son of Barbara D. Carpenter of Concord, NC and the late Robert G. Carpenter. Known by his many friends as "Stick" he was an EMT and a dedicated member of the
Richford Fire Dept. David was well liked and will be greatly missed by
his family and many friends.
Survivors include his mother, Barbara of Concord, NC; his siblings, Gail (Walter Tripp) Hogancamp of Endicott, Robin (Jeff Vandervort) Short of Warren Center, PA, Tracy A. Carpenter of Concord, Kelly J. (Catharine) Carpenter of Dryden and Kyle L. (April) Carpenter of Groton; aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 10 AM Friday, Oct. 20, 2006 at the Perkins Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Sweeney officiating. Burial will be in Willow Glen Cemetery, Dryden. Friends are invited to call from 6 to 8 PM Thursday, at the funeral home, 55 West Main St., Dryden, NY. Those wishing to remember David are asked to consider a memorial to
