DAVID J. CASEY
, age 55, of Freeville, NY passed away Wednesday, March 31, 2010 after a lengthy illness. David was born Sept. 23, 1954 in Lackawanna, NY a son of the late John H. and Anne E. Moran Casey. David was employed as an automotive instructor at TST BOCES for the last 10 years. He served in the US Marine Corps from 1974 to 1976 and on Sept. 21, 1974 he was married to the former Joyce Elaine Nesci in Buffalo, NY. David was an avid tennis player, a red belt in Tae- Kwon- Do, an animal lover and enjoyed writing poems. He was in the process of restoring a MG Midget. A dedicated teacher and a devoted family man, David will be greatly missed.
Survivors include his loving wife, Joyce at home, his daughters, Corinne Anne and Kelly Anne; granddaughter, Makayla Anne Oliver; siblings, Michael Casey, Elizabeth Young, Mary Jane Dolce and Helene Giglia; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends are invited to call from 2 to 4 PM and from 6:30 to 8:30 PM Friday (today) at the Perkins Funeral Home, 55 West Main St., Dryden where Father Scott Kubinski of Holy Cross Church will lead a wake service at 8:30 PM Memorials are directed to the National Kidney Foundation. www.perkinsfuneralhome.com
