Debra Spencer-Smith, age 59 of Skinner Hill Road, Moravia, NY, passed away unexpectedly October 21, 2014 as the result of a car accident.
Born April 26, 1955 in Rochester, NY, she was the daughter of Barbara Sleeman Spencer and the late Carl W. Spencer who died in 1994. Deb was an LPN working at various nursing homes in the Cortland and Ithaca areas. She was a member of the Niles and Lake Como Senior Citizens Groups.
In addition to her mother, Barbara Spencer of Moravia, Deb is survived by her son Aaron Smith and his fiance’, Tiffany Nye of Moravia; her son, Joshua Smith and his wife, Tara of Colorado; brother, Carl W. Spencer II and his wife, Sharon of Moravia; niece, Kristina Spencer of Moravia; grandchildren, Carl Smith, Railyn Smith, Hailey Smith, Alissa Smith, Kayla Bennett, Natalie Wright, Emalyn Smith and an eighth on the way.
At Deb’s request there will not be any services. Perkins Funeral Home, Dryden, NY assisted the family.
