Diana Doremus Jeffalone

DIANA DOREMUS JEFFALONE, age 65, of Homer, NY passed away Thursday, Nov. 12, 2015 at University Hospital, Syracuse, NY. Diana was born October 1950 in Henderson, NV a daughter of the late Raymond D. and Doris J. Thomas Doremus. A resident of Homer since 1979, Diana was married to James P. Jeffalone in Homer. She was employed at the Summit Federal Credit Union in Cortland for 36 years where she was the Branch Manager. She enjoyed traveling, collecting antiques, restoring antique furniture and taking long rides in the country with Jim. She will be greatly missed by her family and her many friends. She considered her employees and co-workers as family. An animal lover by nature, she always welcomed credit union members and encouraged them to bring their pets with them to receive a treat from her.
Survivors include her husband, Jim Jeffalone at home; a sister, Donna Rae Doremus in Las Vegas, NV; a step-son, John C. (Jan) Jeffalone of Newport News, VA and a step-daughter, Michelle Lynn Jeffalone in India; two nephews as well as many friends and acquaintances.
