Donald L. Delong

Donald L. Delong, age 89 of Lansing, NY passed away Thursday, September 30, 2021 at Groton Community Health Care Center.

Born March 26, 1932 in Ithaca, he was the son of the late Freeman and Laura Bullis Delong and husband of the late Addie Delong. Don was employed with the Laborer’s Union Local 785 in Ithaca. He enjoyed his retirement by gambling, whether the horses, casinos or just plain scratch offs. He also enjoyed hunting at “the camp.”

Don is survived by his children, Tina Delong (Wayne), Don Delong (Janice), Louis Delong (Ann), Forrest Stinson (Nena), Cathy Jones (Rick) and Velma Cotterill; many grandchildren and great grandchildren including Laura Delong-Nemecek and her son, Mason; he is also survived by his sister, Kathy Turcsik (John) and several nieces and nephews.

Private graveside services and interment will be held at Willow Glen Cemetery, Dryden.
