Donna Dollaway

DONNA JEAN DOLLAWAY, age 60, for formerly of Ogdensburg and Dryden, NY, passed away Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at the Cayuga Medical Center in Ithaca, NY after a lengthy illness. Donna was born July 29, 1957 in Gouverneur, NY a daughter of the late Claude and Joan Brownell LaCourse. She was graduated from Ogdensburg Free Academy and attended Potsdam State. Relocating to Ithaca, NY in 1978, Donna was employed at CFCU for many years. For a while she resided at Willowbrook Manor in Dryden, NY and later lived at Beechtree Care and Rehabilitation Center in Ithaca where she served as a patient advocate. Her family greatly appreciates the staff of the Cayuga Medical Center and the ICU nurses and doctors who were so kind and compassionate to their Mom and Sister.
Survivors include her children, Sean P. (Alison) Dollaway of Ithaca and Heather P. (Jason) Parente of Cortland; her siblings, Cindy A. (Murray) LaLonde of Dryden and Martin (Leslie) LaCourse of Little Falls, NY; grandchildren, Wren and Anya Dollaway and Derek and Taylor Parente; nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10 AM, Monday, March 19th at St. Catherine of Siena Church, Ithaca. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. Her family will receive friends at the church from 9:30 AM, Monday prior to the Mass. In lieu of flowers memorial donations are directed to: Gadabout, 737 Willow Ave., Ithaca, NY 14850.
