DORIS ELIZABETH DAVIS, age 79, of 297 Bald Hill Road, Spencer, NY and formerly of Syracuse, NY passed away Sunday, April 10, 2011 at the Hospicare Residence, Ithaca, NY.
Doris was born January 25, 1932, only child of the late Paul and Emma Marshall Brown and wife of the late Milton Philip Davis who died October, 21, 2010. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse and had been employed at the Minoa Nursing Home in Minoa, NY prior to retiring.
Doris is survived by her three sons, James M. (Deb) Davis of Danby, NY, Philip Davis of Flint, NY and Daniel (Diane) Davis of Sherrill, NY; grandchildren, Michelle and Stephen Davis of Sherrill, NY and Scott Davis of Seneca Falls, NY. In addition, she is survived by special friends, Eileen and Tina, Brandon and Cody and Bonnie and her special companions, Muffin, Minnie and Cooper.
Funeral services will be held privately in the Perkins Funeral Home with Rev. Ron Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Crown Hill Memorial Park, Town of Kirkland, NY. There are no calling hours. www.perkinsfuneralhome.com
