Doris J. Marsh
of NYS Rt. 221, Marathon, NY passed away Wednesday, July 15, 2009 at the Cayuga Medical Center after a four month illness. Doris was born Oct. 3, 1940 at Richford a daughter of the late Edgar and Nellie Holt Slate. She was a long time area resident and was married to Robert Marsh on March 1, 1958 at Holcombville. Doris was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Survivors include her loving husband of 51 years, Robert at home, her sons, Robert H. Marsh of Marathon, Jeffery L. Marsh of Cortland, Randall J. (Rheadeon) Marsh of Lisle, Raymond (Karen) Marsh of Marathon and Anthony J. (Lisa) Marsh of Marathon. Also surviving are her 11 grandchildren, Tiffany, Kyle, Tyler, Brandon, Nickolas, Leighanna, Stephanie, Zachary, Macy, Lucas, Cassidy Marsh; nieces and nephews and dear friends, Don & Grace Murch and Tracie & Chris Smith. She was predeceased by six siblings.
Doris’s family will be present to greet their friends from 6 to 8 PM Monday, July 20 at the Perkins Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 3 PM, Tuesday, July 21st in Center Lisle Cemetery. Rev. James Willard will officiate.
