Doris A. (Campbell) Polcaro

Doris A. Polcaro age 89 of Willington, CT passed away January 26, 2021 at Douglas Manor Nursing Home in North Windham, CT.

Born May 25, 1931 in Syracuse, NY, she was the daughter of the late Ethel and George Campbell.  She was predeceased by her husband, Patrick Polcaro.  She was employed by Cornell University for more than 25 years until her retirement.

Doris is survived by her 4 children, Tish (David) Ignatowicz of Willington, CT, Jim (Pam) Polcaro of Elkridge, MD, Chuck Polcaro of Webster, NY and Rick (LouAnn Smith) Polcaro of Spencer, NY; twelve grandchildren, Bobby (Kaitlynn) Polcaro,  Brittany Polcaro, Christopher (Casey) Smith,  David (Jennifer) Ignatowicz, Emily Polcaro, Jackson Polcaro, Jamie Polcaro, Matthew Ignatowicz, Michael Ignatowicz, Pierson Polcaro, Porter Polcaro, Zachary Smith and four great grandchildren; Chance Polcaro, Colby Ignatowicz, Kaydan Polcaro, and Sam Ignatowicz.  She was predeceased by one great grandchild, RiLynn Hilsinger.

Private graveside services and interment in the Virgil, NY cemetery will be at the convenience of the family.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
