DOROTHY BUTTS,
93, of Waterloo, NY and formerly of Dryden, NY passed away Thursday, December 7, 2006 at Geneva General Hospital.
Born April 18, 1913 in Syracuse, NY, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Anna Larkin John and wife of the late Leland Butts who died in 1963.
Mrs. Butts is survived by her two daughters, Dianne M. Adams of Auburn, NY and Ann Reeves of Rochester, NY; her four grandchildren, Mark Anthony Adams, Daniel Joseph Adams, Jason Hammon and Rhonda Leader; two great grandchildren, Christopher and Mallory Leader; her two sisters, Mary Waldau of Syracuse, NY and Pauline Thompson of Riverside, CA and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a sister, Florence Shields and a brother, Howard John.
Services and burial at Willow Glen Cemetery will be private at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Finger Lakes SPCA of CNY, 41 York St., Auburn, NY 13021. Perkins Funeral Home, 55 W. Main St., Dryden, NY is assisting the family.
