Dorothy Ann "Dottie" (Miller) Cornelius

Dorothy Ann “Dottie” Corneilus, 83 of Groton, NY passed away Friday, November 3, 2023 at the Hospicare Residence in Ithaca, NY.

Born March 17, 1940 in West Groton, NY she was the daughter of the late George and Lynn Signor Miller and wife of the late Leland Cornelius. Dottie was retired from Smith Corona and was a member of the Groton Community Church for many years.

Dottie is survived by her daughters, Terri Trevits of Dryden, NY and Sue (Rick) Hinman of Locke, NY; grandchildren, Matthew (Blair) Hinman, Christopher Hinman, Stanley Trevits, Emma Trevits, Elle Trevits and Casey Trevits; great grandson, Judah Trevits; former son in law, Dan Trevits; brother, Warren E. “Bub” Miller; several nieces and nephews. In addition, she was predeceased by her sister, Ruth I. Walker and brother, Edward G. Miller.

Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Saturday, November 11, 2023 at Perkins Funeral Home, 55 W. Main St., Dryden, NY. Burial will follow at Willow Glen Cemetery, Dryden, NY. Friends may call from 4-6 pm on Friday, November 10, 2023 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospicare, 172 E. King Rd., Ithaca, NY 14850.
