Dorothy Louise Elbertson

Dorothy (Dottie) Louise Elbertson (Cortland, NY) passed away the morning of June 14, 2023 surrounded by her three children, Julie Reeves, Beth Elbertson, and James Elbertson.

During her long illness, Dottie was able to enjoy the company of her three grandchildren, Michelle Pitts, Michael Braig, and Megan Cotterill, their spouses, and her six great-grandchildren (with another on the way).

Dottie had been long retired, enjoying a quiet life of reading, watching mystery movies, gardening, and sharing walks with her beloved dogs, Penny and Daisy. Dottie enjoyed the simple things, visiting with family and friends and she always had time for a big dish of ice cream.

Dottie will finally be able to join her husband, Roland, in their final resting place together, which provided a sense of great comfort in her last days.

As per Dottie’s wishes, there will not be a public service.
