Dorothy E.”Dot” (Olmstead) Murphy, 83, of Moravia, NY passed away Saturday, November 16, 2013 at home.
She was predeceased by two sons, Stephen W. Jarvis and Michael C. Jarvis, her granddaughter, Jennifer Jarvis and her brother, William Olmstead. A special acknowledgement is extended to Aunt Dot’s nieces, Susan Smith and Laurie Nolan.
A graveside service, with Rev. Matthew P. Binkewicz officiating, will be held in Virgil Rural Cemetery, Virgil, NY at the convenience of the family. Please consider any memorial donations to Hospice of the Finger Lakes, 1130 Corporate Drive, Auburn, NY 13021. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Perkins Funeral Home, Dryden, NY.
Dorothy E.”Dot” (Olmstead) Murphy, 83, of Moravia, NY passed away Saturday, November 16, 2013 at home.
She was born May 16, 1930, a daughter of the late John “Jack” and Katherine Olmstead. Dorothy was a long time employee of the Modern Market in Moravia.
Dot is survived by her son and daughter in law, Garry and MaryAnn Murphy of Herkimer, NY; brother, Richard “Butch” Olmstead of Naples, FL and several nieces and nephews.
