Dorothy May Nesbitt

Dorothy May Nesbitt, 74, of Dryden, NY passed away Friday February 25, 2022 at Cayuga Medical Center.  She was born on May 30, 1947 in Cortland, NY the daughter of the late Robert and Marilla Gates Watts.  Dorothy graduated from Whitney Point High School in 1965.  She was a longtime member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Cortland.  Dorothy loved to spend time with her family. She had a green thumb and loved plants and flowers, and enjoyed collecting dolls.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother: Douglas “Butch” Watts.

Dorothy is survived by her children: Gary (Becka Schindler) Watts, Steven (Michelle) Nesbitt, Stacy Arnold and Christina (Eric) Evans; siblings: Patricia Pagano, Robert Watts Jr., Richard (Angie) Watts, Marna Hudson, Daniel Watts, and Linda (Herb) White; 10 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and several nieces and nephews and her dog, Earl.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, March 5th from 11am – Noon at Perkins Funeral Home with a Funeral Service to follow at noon.  Burial will be in Willow Glen Cemetery in the spring.
