DOROTHY D. ROBINSON, age 79, of W. Cayuga Street, Moravia, NY passed away Thursday, June 9th, 2005 at her residence after a lengthy illness. Mrs. Robinson was born in Dryden, NY on September 2, 1925 and was graduated from Dryden High School. After being married in Auburn, NY in 1951 to Roland "Robbie" Robinson, they made their home in Moravia. She was employed for many years at the Moravia School, where she was the head baker until her retirement in 1988. Dorothy was a member of the Christ United Methodist Church of Moravia and an active volunteer with the Church Thrift Shop. She loved quilting and was an avid bowler, golfer and reader. She was an crafter, volunteer and treasurer of the Dr. Anthony Gallery.

She was predeceased by her husband in 1999. Survivors include her children, Capt. Mitchell (Mary) Robinson of New London, CT, Carol (Jack) Hurlbutt of Locke, Susan (Beau) Bragg of Groton, Scot (Judi) Robinson of Bradenton, FL; grandchildren, Kimberly, Meredith, Jason, Caroline, Emily.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Saturday June 11, 2005 at the Christ United Methodist Church of Moravia, 36 Church St., Moravia, NY with Rev. David Hays officiating. Burial will follow in Willow Glen Cemetery, Dryden. Friends are invited to call from 7 to 9 PM Friday at the Perkins Funeral Home, 55 West Main St., Dryden. Friends are invited to a reception at the church after the cemetery service. Memorials are directed to Powers Memorial Library, Church St., Moravia, NY 13118 or the Hospice of The Finger Lakes, 1130 Corporate Drive, Auburn, NY 13021.
