DOROTHY MAE SHEVALIER, age 80, of Lounsberry Road, Brooktondale, NY passed away Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at home. "Dot" was born July 12, 1935 in Hancock, NY a daughter of the late Frank and Grace Dayton Howe. Her husband, John C. Shevalier died Nov. 7, 2006. A long time Brooktondale resident, she will be missed by a large family.
Survivors include her sons, John (Maryann) Rustyak of Brooktondale, Leonard (Dawn) Shevalier of Mecklenburg; seven grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents; her husband and her siblings, Gloria Stanton, Sandy Milks, Gladys Caskey, Evelyn Bolster, Leonard Frank Howe and Frank Howe, Jr.
A celebration of her life will be held at 10 AM, Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at Perkins Funeral Home, 55 W. Main St., Dryden, with Pastor Eric Cimuchowski officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hills Cemetery, Dryden. Memorials are directed to the Slaterville Ambulance, P.O. Box 190, Slaterville Springs, NY 14881. Perkins Funeral Home is assisting the family.
