ITHACA, NY -
Douglas L. Whitted,
50, of 115 Whitted Drive, Newfield, NY died unexpectedly Sunday, May 2, 2004 at the Cayuga Medical Center at Ithaca, NY. Mr. Whitted was born March 14, 1954 at Ithaca a son of Rudolph and Virginia Newhart Whitted of Ithaca. "Doug" was a life area resident and had been employed at Challenge Industries as a mail handler.
Surviving in addition to his parents are his daughters, Michelle Davis of Dryden, Amanda Bryer of Deposit and Ramona McCall of Palm Desert, CA; Sarah Murphy; his long time companion, Mary Murphy of Newfield; a brother, Kenneth Whitted of Newfield; twelve grandchildren; aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be at 11 AM Wednesday, May 5, 2004 at the Perkins Funeral with Rev. Robert Foote officiating. Burial will be private in Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Ithaca. Friends are invited to call from 10 to 11 AM Wednesday at the funeral home, 55 West Main St., Dryden, NY.
