EDNA I. LLOYD, 84,
of 47 Cobb St., Groton, NY died Friday, July 8, 2005 at Cayuga Medical Center. Born May 15, 1921 at VanEtten, NY, she was the daughter of the late Leon M. and Clara B. Rosenkrans Bachelor and wife of the late Ronald Lloyd who died in 1997. She was a graduate of Ludlowville High School in the Class of 1938 and SUNY Morrisville in 1940, where she majored in Home Economics. She was employed as a Dietition with Oak Hill Manor Nursing Home, and later was employed at Smith Corona of Groton.
Mrs. Lloyd is survived by her daughter and son in law, Judith and John Jursick of Groton, NY; granddaughters, Marcy Jursick of Cary, NC, Carolee (Larry) West of Cary, NC, grandson, Stacy (Lisa) Jursick of Groton, NY, grandson in law, Mikel Crispell of Dryden, NY; great grandchildren, Mallary Tarr of Raleigh, NC, Wyatt Crispell of Cary, NC, Megan Jursick and Rachel Jursick of Groton, NY; a sister, Agnes Nobles of Ithaca, NY; her son in laws’ mother, Rosetta Jursick of Groton, NY; nieces, Suzanne Ford of Berkshire, NY and Trudy Nobles of Ithaca, NY.
At Mrs. Lloyd’s request there will be no funeral services. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. Those wishing to remember Edna are asked to consider memorials to the United Methodist Church of Lansing, 32 Brickyard Hill Rd., Lansing, NY 14882 or Groton Ambulance, 108 E.
