Edward D. Hulbert

Edward D. Hulbert, age 70 of Freeville, NY passed away Sunday, April 4, 2021 at Arnot Ogden Memorial Hospital in Elmira, NY.

Born December 24, 1950 in Ithaca, NY he was a son of the late William and Ida Herman Hulbert. Ed was retired from Evaporated Metal Films in Ithaca. He was a US Marine Corp Veteran serving from 1969 – 1973.

Ed is survived by his wife, June Eaton Hulbert; children, David Nichol (Deb), Richard Nichol and Lawanda Eaton Hulbert (J.R. Dickhaut); grandchildren, Christina Brotherton, Katie Catlin, Nicole Nichol, Hunter Nichol, Cody-Ryan Dickhaut, John-Robert Dickhaut,  Dalton-Edward Dickhaut and Abby Nichol; great grandchildren, Luke Conklin, Hailey Caswell and Ducati Brotherton; brothers, Elwood Hulbert and Rod Hulbert (LaRae); nephews and niece, Chad Hulbert, Kevin Hulbert and Kellie Hulbert. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a grandson, Richard Nichol II who passed away July 24, 1992.

Friends are invited to call from 3-5 pm on Friday, April 16, 2021 at Perkins Funeral Home, 55 W. Main St., Dryden, NY. Interment with military honors will be held at 11 am Saturday, April 17, 2021in the West Danby Cemetery.
