ELIZABETH "BETTE" BRADT
, age 80, of North Port, Florida and formerly of Groton, Dryden and Freeville, NY passed away, Wednesday, Jan 7, 2009 at the Venice Regional medical Center, Venice, FL. Bette was a long time Tompkins County Resident and was the daughter of the late Robert and Ethel Shaffer Booth of Groton, NY. She was retired from the Dryden Elementary School and had made her home in Florida for the last several years. Her husband, Charles "Bud" Bradt died in 1978.
Survivors include her son, Chares "Bruce" Bradt of Ocean City, NJ and her daughter, Lynn (Robert) Wellenstein of Candor; a grandson, Ben Bradt of Ocean City; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Tuesday, Jan 13, 2009 at the Perkins Funeral Home with Rev. Dale Austin officiating. Burial (delayed) will be in Groton Rural Cemetery, Groton, NY.
