Elizabeth Louise Hall,
age 87, of Cuyler, NY died Thursday, January 3, 2008 at Cortland Care Center, Cortland, NY. Born April 23, 1920 in Cortland, NY she was the daughter of the late John T. Bowman and Norma Foster Dennis and wife of the late Eugene C. Hall who died in 1983. Elizabeth was employed as a machine operator with Smith Corona prior to her retirement.
Elizabeth is survived by two daughters, Eleanor (Bruce) Burrows of Cuyler, NY and Teresa (Michael) Paraway of Melbourne, FL; seven grandchildren, Brian and Mark Hall, Laura (Steve) Sutton, Scott and Colin Rockwell, Breanne and Jennifer Paraway; seven great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. In addition, she was a foster mother to many children for many years. She was predeceased by her son, John "Jack" Hall in 2006; brothers, J. Maurice, Clarence and LeRoy Bowman and sisters, Ruth Vaeth and Marion Fehlner; special aunt, Eleanor Spaulding and special friend, Rudy Stanek, Jr.
At her request, there will be no public services or calling hours. Interment in Glenwood Cemetery, Homer, NY will take place at the convenience of the family.
